INK is a new iPad app that showcases comic book work from New York’s School of Visual Arts. Here’s more from Comics Alliance:

Having gifted the comics and cartooning communities with such prodigious talents as James Jean, Kyle Baker, Phil Jimenez, Peter Bagge and the legendary Archie Goodwin himself, it was only appropriate that New York’s School of Visual Arts produce its own comics magazine. Titled INK, the free digital publication spotlights the work of new creators as well as comics industry veterans. The first issue is available now as a downloadable PDF or as a free iPad application features comics by students and interviews with pros like Klaus Janson (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns), Joey Cavalieri (DC Comics Senior Editor) and Nick Bertozzi (Rubber Necker).

The first issue (Fall 2011) is a free download from the iTunes App Store.
