mentioned last week that something was up for Letter to Jane, and now here’s what’s happening: Tim Moore has asked for help to finance what will be the fourth issue of the magazine through a Kickstarter campaign. There are lots of good reasons for why he’s doing this, and you can read all about it on the Kickstarter page, as well as in this post. Regular readers of this site will know how much of a fan I am of Tim’s work — which recently also graced the third issue of Port magazine on iPad — and so I urge every one of you to help support this.

Also, in an interesting twist, for donations of $200, Tim will actually give away the source code for the magazine, which should give anyone — well, not everyone, but those with a certain knowledge in app coding — to produce something that uses the groundbreaking sense and feel that Letter to Jane has offered so far (and I’m sure the next issue will be even better).

So go, support, and here’s hoping we get a fourth issue out of all this. Above, a video introduction to the project.
